This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is ideal, situated in a nice area and conveniently close to the train station for easy access into London. The friendly staff provide excellent service, and the rooms with ensuite bathrooms are absolutely perfect for my needs. Additionally, the breakfast served here is delicious and satisfying.

The room at Black Lion was beautifully renovated and clean. The location was perfect, just steps away from public transport and shops. Despite being located on the main high street, the room was surprisingly quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff. Spacious, bright room. Modern en suite. Room could use better lighting near bed. Electricals near TV need fixing. No handles on sash windows. Pricey.

The breakfast offered a good variety of options to start the day. the hotel provided a convenient location and comfortable stay.
There was some difficulty with arrival and departure, as the hotel did not open until midday. This made it challenging to leave luggage or depart early, causing inconvenience for guests.
